My wife, pharmacist Pervin Çelenk, has been undergoing treatment for a brain tumor for 21 years. She has had a total of four brain surgeries and four rounds of radiation therapy. Throughout this time, she has also been on indefinite chemotherapy with various medications. Our fourth surgery was extremely critical—the tumor had grown, was in a difficult location, and carried serious risks. Not having the surgery wasn’t an option; we could have lost her at any moment. At that crucial point, neurosurgeon Operator Doctor Orkan Bey from Batıkent Medical Park Hospital came to our aid. He told us he could perform the surgery with minimal damage. I believed in him and trusted him. The surgery was a success. Now, we have a new chance and opportunity for my wife’s life. I am deeply thankful to him. Believe me, I’ve never met anyone like Dr. Orkan. His patient follow-up, judgment, and knowledge are at the highest level. His sense of responsibility toward his patients didn’t end after the hospital stay—I could reach him at any time, and he continued to provide updates and information.
